I chose Braiding Sweetgrass as my non-fiction book because I was just about finished reading it with my book group. The cover is very simple so I added some elements from the book that evoked vivid childhood memories for me-picking wild strawberries, canoeing when attending summer camps, and I added the Three Sisters because my dad and now myself are gardeners.
