My daughter sent me this awesome book for Mother's Day. It's non-fiction and I selected the graphic representing geology and the water as my two elements to work with. I did a lot of practicing first just to see what and how I wanted to put it together. I also wanted to use simple curves in this project (it's all about learning and getting out of our comfort zone, right?). I quickly learned I'm no good at sewing curves without pins, oh well, I used pins. Over all I am very happy with the final outcome and had so much fun with this lesson.
