About this workshop

Step into the enchanting world of Beatrix Potter and explore the English Lake District in a workshop that combines textile history, literary heritage, and hands-on quilting. Guided by Jenni Smith and Kay Walsh, you’ll gain exclusive access to stories and textile treasures connected to Potter’s life and work. In this workshop, you’ll create a project inspired by the famed 1863 Potter Wedding Quilt which will build your skills and confidence in foundation paper piecing and both machine and hand embroidery. Also visit Beatrix’s home at Hill Top and the famous haberdashery Cool Crafting, home of Luna Lapin.
