Month 3 - quilt book. I chose Kaffe Fasset's Quilts in Burano and promised myself I would not use KF fabrics! I've been using my stash of solid shot cottons so far, but for this block needed a print for the quilt and the tile roof! Found a P Carter Carpin print that worked perfectly for the quilt and a batik for the tile roof. I did use KF ribbon for the binding of the quilt, I just couldn't help it the colors were perfect! Loving how Margaret is stretching us to become more abstract. I would love a peak at her bookshelf (where does she get all those cool covers) as well as her stash of fabrics!!!
