My "laugh out loud " book is Where the Wild Things Are, written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak. I focused on the texture of the water and sky as told through the fabric. I was able to find material with the book's characters and used them subtly as applique around the letters WILD. This month's block was a very challenging project!
