Month 4 - Book that made me laugh out loud. I realized in reviewing my book list, that I don't read many funny books. Fredrik Backman's Anxious People is very clever with quirky characters and an unusual plot! I chose to abstract this cover by just focusing on the colors, without regard to the shapes or layout of the cover. I went for a Mondrian-like effect, because when I think of abstract art I think of Broadway Boogie Woogie and his Compositions. All the fabrics are shot cotton and I used black bias binding to get the Mondrian-like effect. I enjoyed this challenge, as it really stretched me!
