Month 4 for the #patchworkandprose #quiltfolkbom where the suggested assignment was to choose a funny book and interpret the cover through one of the techniques shown in the Block of the Month video. I chose Bill Bryson's "Notes from a Big Country" with a cover illustration by Neil Gower and cover designed by Micaela Alcaino. I wanted to try several of the techniques from recent months so from top left and going clockwise the techniques are zipper, soft curves, braids and vertical half square triangle! Interesting exercises!
