The focus this past month to look at the book cover and pick one element that stands out most to you, was quite interesting. I loved Nancy Drew and read them all when I was a young girl. The Hidden Staircase was one of my favorites! I chose to do an abstract interpretation of the cover with emphasis on the flashlight beam. I took Margaret’s suggestion and let the fabric do the work for me for the staircase.
