The prompt this month (July) was a book that made you laugh out loud, and I immediately thought of Catch 22--I was 23, alone, on a train across Italy, and laughing my head off. This cover is not the usual one, but it's the version I read. It does not reflect the crazy chaos of the book, so I used some of the techniques covered in class to add a little of my own.
For my second (can't stop) this month, I completely redid the cover of Last Garden in England, trying out a technique I hope to use in a bigger quilt some day. Not bad for my first try (and might get some applique help after next month)!
