I love Jane Austen, especially Persuasion & Pride and Prejudice. I go back and forth between them as to my favorite. I wasn’t sure which one to use for a book cover or just to use a cover from a collection of her novels. I finally decided to do my own cover using an element that is important in her books - letters! This is a case of the fabric doing the work, the letter fabric from the collection “Jane Austen at Home” and the background is reproduction fabric of the early 1800s. I was inspired by the two book covers here.
