While I have laid out twelve blocks and a cover, I have not decided if I will in fact make a wall hanging or a soft bound book. I have participated in both years of patchwork and prose; for the second year I focused on books with book, reading, library or any other words pertaining to reading a book. I found a fabric with trees and it was so simple I purchased it not knowing how or when I would use it, A few weeks ago, I googled quotes with tree and books and found the quote displayed on the fabric. I am a paper crafter and have many dies used for making cards and scrapbooks. The dies cute fabric as well and I have them ton my advantage. I included several covers from the first year in the photo. This time around, I used fabric to create the cover of the book using shapes with the colors used in the book as well as just two colors. I have enjoyed the workshops which will help me be more creative with fabrics and quilts, but also with my paper crafting as well. I have really enjoyed the discussions, the 'field trips, (guests) and the hosts. I have purchased a number of the books shown/mentioned and am looking forward to one day visiting England.
