Month 4 has been my favorite so far or maybe it is just because I am becoming more comfortable with trying new things. I walked the Portuguese Camino last June and loved looking back at my photos and finding fabric to bring those memories to life in a new way! I have been wanting to make a Camino inspired quilt and now my head is spinning with so many ideas for different blocks. I had fun with the Spider Wed and tried it with bold colors and then again as I explored a monochromatic color scheme. I loved that Kay worked the patttern out for us and it has inspired me to look at other types of tesselating patterns and try to figure out how they are pieced.
