Our quilt-themed notebooks have been in high demand, and we are pleased to share that we have a new notebook in stock! Our latest notebook features the beautiful quilt Bargello! by Victoria McConnell, who was featured in Issue 21: Maryland.
This exclusive, hardcover notebook features a beautiful photograph taken during our travels for Issue 21: Maryland. The notebook has lined pages that lay completely flat for easy sketching. And it gets better: Denik is based in Utah, so all notebooks are made in the USA!
“Your drawing would look awesome on a notebook.” Even though he had been told that he shouldn’t pursue art as a career, it only took encouragement from one person for Denik Founder, Tyler, to build a brand around creative, cause-based notebooks. Tyler, and his cofounder, Jake, gathered a team of artists and started designing and binding notebooks. And with each item sold, a portion of the proceeds was set aside to fund the building of a school in Mali, Africa. His vision has blossomed from a grassroots street team of book-slingers to a community of artists and creative professionals. The mission of “funding education projects through art and creativity” has spread to artists, customers, corporations, and partners worldwide. The Denik Movement has successfully funded five schools, demonstrating that art can change the world.
