Friendship Blooms

Meet the Friendship Blooms quilt! The floral motif was inspired by the beautiful dogwood petals growing in Arkansas—the appliqué flower is combined with easy piecing to create this special block. It was designed with the appreciation for all of our quilty friendships that bloom over the years.

The pattern consists of appliquéing a cute flower on top of your finished pieced block. It comes with video tutorials to show you how to pick your fabrics, make the units within the blocks, and assemble them, as well as how to make the appliqué flower using the “turn and flip” method with medium weight Heat ‘N’ Bond Fusible Interfacing. It’s a special quilt, which can be made in four sizes and three colorways that you are sure to love!

Featured in Quiltfolk, Issue 34: Arkansas, Belle Brunner is the founder of Seams Sew Me, a quilting business she launched in 2021 after making her first quilt a year prior. Since then, she’s released a growing collection of quilt patterns; become a brand ambassador for companies like Havel’s Sewing, Oliso, and Arrow Sewing; and will debut her first fabric line with Benartex in 2025. A passionate teacher and former nonprofit leader, Belle now blends her professional background in training and advocacy with her creative pursuits—offering courses, consulting guild boards, and running Seams Sew Me Retreats at Riverglen.
