The beautiful patchwork heart displayed on the finished quilt has since become an iconic image here at Quiltfolk, which you have likely seen featured on stationery, mugs, and other popular items in our shop. And the love for this pattern just continues to grow.
Now, Quiltfolk workshop leader and Virtual Show-and-Tell host Jenni Smith has taken inspiration from Warm Heart, Cool Head to create something just for our community! Using her favorite Liberty fabrics, she has designed Be Mine, an exclusive — and simplified — version of a quilt that’s a real sweetheart.
It warms our hearts to see quilts and stories from our community, so we’ve partnered with sewing shop Modern Domestic of Portland, Oregon, to arrange a contest!
To enter, complete your own version of Jenni’s Be Mine quilt and post a photo of your creation to Instagram or Facebook with the story behind your quilt — what fabrics you chose and why, if your quilt is dedicated to anyone, and what inspired you to make it. Then, tag your post with #quiltfolkbemine and submit your entry by midnight, February 28.
