We are taking a virtual visit to the South of France! Cheese, wine, croissants, architecture, lavender fields—oui, the region of Provence has so much to offer our adventurers.
The most visited country on Earth, France is steeped in history with cultural institutions galore. But, surprisingly, there are no museums dedicated to displaying French quilts. That is where we come in: The Quiltfolk team is traveling from Paris to Provence in order to capture the stories behind the stitches and to produce an informative and inspiring workshop packed with the charm and passion for which this nation is famous!
Purchase a single-workshop pass for Postcards From Provence. Upon registration, you will be able to access all event details and resources on our exclusive Attendee Hub.
Best value! Access all three of our annual Adventure Workshops at a 25% discount when you buy a Passport. Plus, enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes content, sneak peeks, and more.
Explore the needlework of southern France, all from the comfort of home.
During this virtual trip, your workshop hosts (and tour guides extraordinaire) Jenni Smith and Kay Walsh will share with you the sights, flavors, and exquisite quilts of this beautiful and storied slice of Provençal paradise. Don’t miss out on hearing from local quilters, learning Provençal quilting techniques, and, of course, indulging in regional recipes while you sew your next project.
We will learn all about the Boutis, a quilting technique with a rich Provençal heritage; study antique needlework from the ateliers of Marseille; and, of course, design a project you can sew and treasure.
