Book Lovers was my current read and I literally chose the color of the book, the color of the spine and the color of the type for fabric. I used colorblok ribbon for the characters and the books, both in their hands and in their luggage. The strip of fabric to the left represents the spine of the book, while the flange represents the color of the font. My second image, The Library Book, was chosen for the single element. I chose the fire element, enlarging and using it as a template. While the cover is a solid color, I found fabric that emulates fire for both the book cover and the element.
