During A Very Quiltfolk Christmas, you’ll learn to make three beautiful projects that you can gift to yourself or share with others! And while you may choose to follow a festive theme for the holidays, we’ve designed all three projects to be relevant year round so that you can make them time and time again with your favorite fabrics—no matter the occasion! The on-demand workshop includes lifetime access to the recording of the live event as well as detailed instructions for each project.

What You’ll Learn: With the instruction of your workshop hosts Jenni & Kay, as well as a longtime friend of Quiltfolk and owner of Something to Crow About quilt shop Kennette Blotzer, you’ll learn to make three beautiful projects that you can gift to yourself or share with others! The three projects that will be taught are a Folded Star Mini Quilt, a Pamper Set comprised of a quilted eye mask and lavender sachet, and a pillowcase that doubles as gift wrapping!

Experience Level: This workshop is open to all experience levels.

What You’ll Need: Once you register for the workshop, you’ll receive an email with a kit list.

Money-back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with the workshop when you are through, we will refund your total amount, no questions asked.

Projects We’ll Be Demonstrating

  • Folded Star Mini Quilt
  • Jenni & Kay’s Perfectly Pampered Set
  • Kennette’s Multipurpose Pillowcase
  • Plus, the McCormick family sugar cookie recipe and more!

Project One: Folded Star Mini Quilt

Mini quilts are a fun and simple way to get creative throughout the year (not just at Christmas)! But this small, approachable project is especially perfect to work on while snuggled by the fire.

If you’ve never made a mini quilt before, you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to learn. Our first tutorial will teach you how to sew the beautiful Folded Star Mini Quilt seen here, which can be displayed on its own or used as a trivet to add a little holiday cheer to your dining table!

Project Two: Jenni & Kay’s Perfectly Pampered Set

A little pampering goes a long way! For our second project, we will teach you how to make an eye mask and scented sachet pillow set using your choice of fabric. Whether you make a set for yourself to enjoy some overdue “me” time or you decide to gift it to a friend or loved one, it’s sure to be thoroughly enjoyed by the recipient! The idea for this set came from our workshop hosts Jenni and Kay. Here is a quick note from Jenni herself:

“Kay gifted me a handmade eye mask using Liberty fabric a few Christmases ago, and it is one of my most-used gifts ever! This mask is perfectly combined with a scented pillow for a relaxing night’s sleep or can be used when traveling to feel at home.”

Project Three: A Multipurpose Pillowcase

Our third project is a multipurpose pillowcase designed by Kennette Blotzer, who Quiltfolk has worked with time and again on many projects and patterns. Not only is this pillowcase a great use of scrap fabrics, but it also doubles as gift wrap. Instead of traditional wrapping paper, you can use this pillowcase as an attractive way to wrap gifts—and once unwrapped, it serves as a bonus gift!

This is a wonderful upcycling project that saves money and reduces waste! You can reuse this pattern any time of year for numerous different occasions.

Finale: A Christmas Cookie Bake Off

We conclude our workshop with a fun spin on a favorite show: “The Great Quilted Cookie Bake Off—McCormick Style.” Using our newly released Quiltfolk cookie cutters, the McCormick family (Mike, Marisa, Cora, and Quinn) shares a family sugar cookie recipe that is sure to delight your taste buds. Daughter Cora demonstrates her top decorating tips, and Mike shares a holiday punch recipe that’s sure to infuse your gatherings with a little extra joy this holiday season!
