The maker of the quilt top that became Kennesaw knew how to create movement in a quilt—and she went all the way with it. There are 66 Dutchman’s Puzzle blocks in Kennesaw, and at 24 pieces to a block, plus the setting squares, Kennesaw contains a whopping 1,645 pieces! The blocks dazzle in a wide array of colors and precise piecing, and a simple all-over stipple quilting design by Kennette Blotzer of Tall Trees Quilting keeps things from getting out of hand. Measuring 71 x 84 inches, each block in this quilt has been hand pieced with care, creating a delightful interplay of shapes and hues. We think all that work was totally worth it.
The Kona Natural backing and binding give the colors room to shine. The quilting pattern, Jigsaw, was machine quilted by Kennette Blotzer of Tall Trees Quilting, adding to the puzzle-like design of the blocks.

Imperfections: Every Quiltfolk Foundry quilt in our shop began its life as an unfinished vintage top or collection of loose blocks. We hope you’ll see them as we do, just another part of the story.
