Month Two! How exciting and a bit challenging. This fascinating book, ROCK ART SYMBOLS, by Alex Patterson, sprung out of a rafting trip on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon. Besides rafting, we did quite a bit of hiking. Among the ancient rocks, we found amazing symbols of prehistoric man. This month's block is an ode to the Native Americans, their rich history, and the engaging stories that they left drawn into the rocks.
