Block #6, Marvelous in Miniature/Classic. I purchased the perfect map/compass/ship fabric months ago with Treasure Island in mind. Looks like it will have to live in my stash a little longer! I love this cover. It's artsy and doesn't include any pirates. I studied up on needle turn applique, brainstormed how to assemble and wrote down step by step instructions to follow. Initially my fabric choices mirrored the book cover. Every little lump and bump was noticable and it didn't speak to me. Digging through my stash and changing to prints made a huge difference!
