This is my Sunbonnet Laura. She loves pretty prints and flowers and her favorite “relaxation” pastime is looking up into TALL TALL trees and listening for birds. She always wears her bonnet - her skin is freckled (nice way to say AGE SPOTTED) and fair. ***I have never machine appliquéd before - so this was OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE. I also didn’t practice - I am considering this my practice! I think I might make a whole slew of Sunbonnet Lauras and put them together to become a beautiful patchwork quilt.
